Well, it’s been a little while since I’ve actually rambled about anything more than a one-liner, or a link or what not. It’s summer, so I have some extra “free” time now… for now at least.
Final grades came out, and I was really surprised with the outcome. I expected nothing more than a 2.8 this semester, but was rewarded with a 3.0.
- Business Programming in COBOL: A
- Introduction to Biology: B
- Uses of MicroComputers: B
- US History II: B
- Statistics: C*
* = don’t get me started on my demonic lesbian professor
Also, we’re leaving for Myrtle Beach for a week on Saturday night… so that should be a fun week filled with sun, salt water, and lots of alcohol. Ohhh man, I can’t wait. Well, I’m not looking forward to the 15 hour car ride (30hrs in total), but the time down there will be fun.
In the mean time, I got contracted to a new website job to work on. Nothing like a little spare cash, along with something decent to add to my portfolio for post-graduation. So far, I have 3 more clients lined up after this business is finished, along with a chance that I might get the job for redoing and managing Waldameer’s website, if they ever decide to ditch their horrible web-marketing company that they are overpaying.
By the end of Summer, I should have *hopefully* around $6,000 saved up, which I’m not sure if I’ll invest in early payoff of my student loans, or maybe get myself something fun… like a prostitute or something equally as fun.
All-in-all it is looking like a fun summer ahead… hopefully it goes nice and slow…
