The Social Network
We spent a portion of the day today at work to watching the Social Network… and to see how far Facebook had come in a short amount of time, compared to how far Epic WebStudios has come in a little under 2 years is kind of amazing to me.

T-minus 15 days until Christmas Break… can’t come fast enough.

Well, it’s been a little while since I’ve actually rambled about anything more than a one-liner, or a link or what not. It’s summer, so I have some extra “free” time now… for now at least.
Final grades came out, and I was really surprised with the outcome. I expected nothing more than a 2.8 this semester, but was rewarded with a 3.0.

I’m pretty sure that someone copied my client/server programs for my MicroComputers class… if so, it blows, because he did not announce until today that we had to copy them over to him…
Oh well, 1 final away from Summa.
3 finals down, and 2 to go. Now, to finish these damn client/server programs and pass my Statistics final on Friday…
It is now official finals week. Time to kick some ass, and get to Summer ‘09.
After working 2p-9p, I am now off until at least May 3rd. Hooray for over 10 days off… too bad I have to do finals in that time.

So lets see… this semester has sucked. In order to get B’s in two of my classes (theoretically) I have to get 93% respectively on both finals, which is achievable, but it’s going to be tough (Statistics, and History). My MicroComputers class is a toss up, because the professor never returns any work, so I have no idea what my grade is remotely.

Yep, it’s April 6th and as of right now, there is about an inch of snow on the ground. And it’s still coming down… coolness.
Well, I ended up finishing up my 8-page paper, which isn’t due until the end of the month, so that’s a load off my mind, however the 6 programs still need to be done, and I cannot connect to the “projects” server we need to… oh well.
Best news of the day… possible 6-12” of snow possible by Tuesday night. Good thing it is April. Fuck snow, and fuck cold....

Cashing in... or lack thereof
Today was payday (and yes, pay periods run from Wednesday to Tuesday). Looking back at my pay stub, I realized “shit, I don’t make much.” This really isn’t a revelation, but more of a motivation to keep me going in school. As much fun as it is to be making $7.82 an hour, I’d like to be kicking ass at a higher pay level.
